"The music I make is my DNA" - Gary Mach
Gary Mach is a Mauritian artist known for his "Terner Beat Drumming Style" which has a unique way of grooving with different crowds. Being a drummer, he understood that groove is what his drumming needs to be about. Drumming since year 2000, Gary Mach has started at the "Conservatoire Nationale de Musique Francois Mitterrand" in Mauritius learning classical percussions and basic orchestral drumming. A few months later, he joined his first rock band to expand his skills. He was the main drummer and percussionist of an orchestra for 4 years and at the same time a drum sessionist for a few bands.
In 2010, Gary Mach moved to Malaysia to pursue his tertiary studies in audio technology to enrich his knowledge about the music industry and business. He returned to his homeland in 2016 where he would share his acquired skills. Along his journey, he continued to be a drum session player for many bands, a drum teacher and music theory teacher for kids. He is also a music composer/arranger and producer. One of his biggest work to date was to score 18mins of music for the opening ceremony of the "Indian Ocean Island Games in 2019" (JIOI). Throughout his musical path, he had the opportunity to explore a variety of music genres which he now interprete and showcase through his work.
